STEAMPUNK BEAST & VARMINT ART at the STEAM ATOMITORIUM ART STUDIO

Using discarded children’s dolls, Cap (Capitan El Mavado) is creating a little series of unusual ladies and offbeat fellows he calls, “CrowPunks”. These imaginary tiny beings may be humorous or haunting, or possible just down right wrong.

NOTE: Each post below represents a CrowPunk Design & Build project that is underway. Projects are listed from newest to oldest.

09.2018> DESIGN STAGE The vintage doll, below, was found in a yard sale free box. I believe the doll is wearing original clothing, but not certain. The patina on this doll is perfect for art purposes. It photographs well and Cap is considering what kind of CrowPunk she will make.
